Extra Curriculum   

We offer a diverse range of extracurricular activities as part of our curriculum for Toddlers and Preschoolers. These activities include:

​

  • Music

  • Soccer

  • Drama

  • Language

  • Karate

  • Dance

 

The extracurricular program aligns with the school term and rotates annually. All activities are facilitated by third-party professional instructors. Best of all, we cover the costs of all extracurricular activities for our families.

INCURSION
EXCURSION
EVENTS

We incorporate excursions, incursions and events as part of its educational program. This involves welcoming community and outside programs into the centre. We ensure these incursions are linked to our curriculum and based on the current children’s interests. We cover the cost of these events.

 

Some incursion/excursion activities are Movies, Athletic carnivals, Reptile Adventures, and Dentist visits.

 

Annual events include Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparents' Day, Christmas Concert, and Graduation.

EDUCATIONAL 
PROGRAM

We run a full educational program where each child is individually programmed based on the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards. Our curriculum supports a balance of intentional teaching, learning through play and spontaneous activities. It includes the following elements;​

​

  • Literacy through phonics instruction, letter of the week activities, storytelling, writing activities, sight word recognition, and phonemic awareness activities.

  • Numeracy through counting and games.

  • Cognitive processing for discovery, problem-solving, critical thinking, and exploration.

  • Self-help and life skills; developing a strong sense of well-being through learning nutrition, personal hygiene, emotions and social relationships.

  • Music and movement.

  • Social skills through Individual and group experiences

  • Dramatic play that supports their exploration of social roles.

  • Creative play for exploring different art mediums to enhance imagination and creativity.

  • Spontaneous activities to embrace authentic learning moments.

  • Sustainable practice is embedded into the daily routine.

  • School Readiness: covers various areas, including language development, early math skills, social interaction, and emotional growth.
